About this product
If you want a second screen that travels with you, the MSI Pro MP161 E2U is designed for that. It offers a 16in Full HD IPS display (1920x1080) with a 60Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time, ideal for work, browsing and watching. Weighing 0.8kg and 1.9cm thick, it fits in a bag without adding weight. Plug it into your laptop, phone or console for extra screen space on the move. Built-in speakers let you listen to audio or edit videos without external speakers or headphones.
You get connectivity with 1 HDMI port, 2 Thunderbolt ports, and an audio input, so it works with almost anything. The brightness is 250cd per m2 with an 800 to 1 contrast ratio, decent for indoor use. There's a VESA mount (100x100mm) to stick it on an arm, plus a power saving mode. The speakers are 2x1 watts RMS, there when you need them but not room-filling. Great for working from home
I’ve been struggling to work from home with just a laptop but don’t want clunky office equipment. This monitor is perfect for my needs, folds away completely flat and has a little case so it can be stored away. It’s got two cables, HDMI and USBC but it works on my laptop with just the USBC. Once it’s plugged in it automatically adjusts to a double screen. It’s a game changer for me!

This depends on the USB port on your computer. If the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt, the MSI PRO MP161 E2U can be powered and display video using a single USB-C cable.
