Misleading reviews
I purchased this recently because of the excellent reviews, and was disappointed when the mattress came. You could feel the springs when lieing on it which didn’t feel comfy. I rechecked the reviews and noticed that when you click the link to the suppliers website, they are for a completely different mattress.

Great single mattress
This was bought as a feasible and practical mattress for our spare single bed for occasional guests. My sister in law used it and found it very comfortable and supportive for a weeks use. Lovely comfy mattress
I bought this mattress as i upgraded from a double bed to a king-size. From the first night I slept on it I'm having the best nights sleep I've had in years. I'm a heavy set woman so wasn't sure about the spring part of it as I had a memory foam mattress before so thought I'd give it a try.Theres a little pinging noise when i first get on it, but moving around on it i hear nothing, and I'm a very restless sleeper so always moving around. I absolutely love it. Its so comfy and bouncy. My cats even love it lol

Do not waste your money
Not sure about the other reviews, and how people can say it is comfortable. Horribly finished. This would not last ever a year. Wouldn’t pay even £50 for this. Absolutely rubbish.

Uncomfortable mattress
This mattress appeared to be only spring covered with textile, very disappointed with the amount of foam inside it. Sii cannot recommend it to anyone.

Mattress
I bought this mattress a week ago and so far it appears to be a great purchase. It came vacuum packed and rolled up but was easy for one person to release it and put it on the bed. I haven’t slept on it as it’s for my spare room but it appears to be comfortable when sitting on it. The delivery company were not very good about communicating re: the delivery date or I would have given a 5* review.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Aspire Kids Dual Layer Open Coil Mattress - Single.
This mattress uses a Bonnell spring system, which is a continuous coil design rather than individual pocket springs. Because of this, there is no specific coil count.
However A Bonnell sprung single mattress typically contains around 216 springs, though counts can vary slightly by brand, with some using thicker 12.5 gauge wire for firmer feel or potentially fewer if very budget-focused, but 216 is a common standard for that traditional, interconnected coil system

It is only the cover on the Aspire Kids Dual Layer Open Coil Mattress - Single which is OEKO-TEX certified, however the mattress has Double eco-foam layers, is Fire retardant and Anti allergy.
