Small and tidy
This is the second time I have bought this microwave. I wanted a small model and this fitted the bill. Neat and tidy .It does what it says , and very easy to use, so very happy

Disappointed
Disappointed with this. I carefully checked all models to make sure the internal capacity was big enough to take my rice cooker and on paper this was a couple of mm larger than my last one that was being replaced after 30 years and easily took it. In reality, the actual door frame gap is very small, roughly the same size as the pot so it can only just go in at an angle but is impossible to get out as the glass plate is very unstable and pulls forward with it. The glass plate balances precariously on a plastic central nub and an outer loose ring (my old one slotted in safely and didn't move) and as my husband is visually impaired, it has been too cumbersome for him to manage. Finally, I was surprised to see the amount of condensation water created in from a couple of baked potatoes, never had this issue before.

Good microwave
This microwave is quite similar, although a different make, to one which lasted 31 years! So I have high hopes for this one! I use it every day, though not to cook meals, so is perfectly adequate. Had to go online to find out how the clock could be set, but other than that it seems to be fine. Preferred the white colour, so was good to have a choice.

SURPRISINGLY GOOD
I have never purchased a microwave before but with this particular one I am very pleased that I now have. I was always against them but circumstances have forced my hand because of a life changing accident. The instructions were a little beyond me to start with but once I fully engaged I was able to use the defrosting function and was pleased how quiet it was. It is at just the correct height for me. The results of the cooking were pleasing with the food tasty and consistent.

This is a fairly basic straightforward microwave but it does what's needed simply and efficiently, which is what I wanted. My mother has an earlier but similar model which has been excellent for many years. A good product from a good brand.

I can confirm no, it will not take an 11-inch plate.It is a compact 20-litre model featuring an internal glass turntable diameter of 255 mm (approx. 10 inches). An 11-inch dinner plate measures roughly 280 mm, meaning it will exceed the diameter of the rotating tray

The manual states: ''Microwave cooking and defrosting:
The glass tray must always be in position when using the oven.
*Press Micro Power to select the desired power level (see below *).
*Set the cooking time. Refer to “Setting the cook time/timer time” in the manual.
*Press Start/Set. The time counts down in the display.
* For Defrost you need to press Micro Power 4 times to get to 200 W.
Notes:
1. The oven will automatically work on 800 W (High) MICROWAVE power if a cooking time is entered without the power level previously being selected.
2. While cooking, the glass tray may vibrate. This will not affect cooking performance.
3. For MULTI-STAGE COOKING, refer to page 17.
4. STANDING TIME can be programmed after MICROWAVE power and time setting. Refer to page 19.
5. DO NOT use microwave only with any metallic accessory in the oven.
6. Always check the food during defrosting by opening the door then restarting. It is not necessary to cover food during defrosting. To ensure an even result, stir, turn or separate several times during defrosting. For large joints and poultry, turn halfway through defrosting.
Refer to Defrosting guidelines on page 22 for details.
7. When the microwave oven is operated at 800 W (High) microwave power for long time, the microwave oven automatically adjust the power to protect the components of the microwave oven.''
