A great e-scooter

I must say I was a little apprehensive when the product arrived as I has not paid to much attention to e-scooters I have previously seen. Because I’m 6’3” and 95kgs I was dubious as to whether the scooter would perform well, how wrong I was. This product is manufactured well, the scooter feels solid and robust which was easily able to handle my size and weight. The scooter is quite heavy but then I suppose this is due to the solid frame which is designed to carry a maximum user weight of 120kg. The set-up is extremely easy, and the manual enclosed explained everything thoroughly the set-up time was around 10 minutes from unboxing to first use. I think the lights on the front and rear of the scooter are very useful and they are very bright. The scooter has a bell on the handlebars which has kept the grandkids fascinated. The speed of the scooter is very good, and I particularly like the colour scheme when selecting the power mode which at a glance you can tell if you are using the scooter on standard mode or max power. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time they only downside is the charge drains quickly when used on max power but that is to be expected. Grip is very good and reliable when used in damp/wet conditions. Would recommend if you are looking to purchase an e-scooter.

Great Scooter

Great Scooter, packs up nicely and isn’t too heavy. Top speed is approx 25km/h. Has a pedestrian mode, and a bell to alert others. It handles well and the battery lasts approx for about 50kms. It took just over 5 hours to charge it back up. Packaged well and is a quality item.

Quality design

This feels and looks like it’s a premium product. It’s a good size, made for people over the age of 16. When opening the package, be sure to keep it in the box to build - I made the mistake of taking it out! The disappointing thing was the time it took to charge. I checked after 3 hours and still not fully charged. It didn’t say in the instructions how long it would take, but the manufacturer website states 8 hours. So while it’s got an impressive range, you’d need to be prepared for charging it for that length of time. I like that it’s waterproof, and that it’s a smooth ride but I would consider opting for the suspension model if that’s important to you. Speed wise it’s fun and just enough without whizzing around. I like that there’s a stand built into it, so that you can keep it upright when not in use. Overall I like the comfort of this scooter, and would recommend it for feeling sturdy and safe.

Great Scooter

Pure air 5 pro. Well packaged. Comes with Allen key to assemble so no need to hunt for 1. Instructions to assemble literally on the box. Proper hand brake (like a bike, rather than a button) In built bell to make people aware you're there. Clips to fold handle and unlock very handy and easy to use. Would suit a taller rider 5' 8" upwards. Back light is always on when the scooter is switched on. Requires a push before the electric throttle kicks in. Decent kick stand holds the scooter up without it feeling like it's going to topple over as it is quite a heavy scooter. The air 5 pro doesn't have indicators. The three modes, pedestrian mode the front light flashes constantly, all other modes you can have the light on, off or flash. The front light can be adjusted to point downwards, to achieve this you just need to pull the bracket down a bit which is under the front reflector. To set the app up, make sure the scooter is on, then pair via Bluetooth. Once that is done you can adjust the display from kmh to mph, also km to miles. You can lock the scooter from the app too, which is in the advanced feature of the app, you are unable to switch the scooter off whilst it is locked, which is quite a cool feature I thought. The ride is quite firm but I'm sure that's down to the puncture resistant tyres, I'd rather have that then replacing the tubes constantly.

Powerful & Solid Build – Missing a Few Extras

I’ve really enjoyed trying out the Pure Air⁵ Pro so far. Assembly was simple and straightforward, and the scooter itself feels very well built. The design is sleek, the ride is smooth, and it runs quietly compared to others I’ve seen. Charging does take a bit of time, but once powered up, the battery life seems decent for short trips. I haven’t pushed it to full speed yet given the road restrictions, but it feels stable and safe at lower speeds. The front headlight and brake light are both very bright, which gives good visibility in darker conditions. I do wish this model came with indicators (only the Pro+ version has them) and a proper horn instead of the bicycle-style bell, which feels a bit out of place on such a modern scooter. Connecting the scooter to the app worked in the end, but the Bluetooth pairing wasn’t completely straightforward. Once set up, though, it’s useful for tracking battery and settings. The only real downside I’ve noticed is the weight — it’s solidly built, but that does make it heavy to carry or move around when folded. Overall, this scooter feels like a high-quality, well-designed ride with a few minor areas that could be improved.
