It’s an iron !!
Bought this a couple of weeks back to replace a duff older steam iron. As a ‘mature man about the house’ I can often be found at the ironing board, and must say I find the job very satisfying. Our new iron has made me realise how ancient the old one was - the new one is simple to fill with water, with clearly marked level limit, and performs the job with the minimum of ease !

Returned
Thermostat not working. Could place my hand on sole plate and it barely felt warm. Nowhere near hot enough to make steam! Was expecting something that worked after reading previous reviews. Very disappointing. Had to exchange for a different model as no more of this type in stock and needed it urgently.

Poor
Great iron up until now . I bought this in early September 2025 and it stopped working today, half way through my ironing . 😫 Troubleshooted but still nothing . Light comes on when plugged in, then goes off. No heat at all. Not a happy bunny .

The wife says it’s great
I’m not an ironer. But the missus is. She greatly enjoys this iron, and the extra long cord is just superb.

I would never use tap water in any appliance, especially a steam iron as it causes limescale and it will come out of the jets on to your clothes. I always buy the Comfort ironing water, its very good
Hello Sam,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Morphy Richards Steam Flow Turbo Steam Iron 302010: We advise using only 100% distilled, de mineralised or deionised water in the iron, not tap water.
