I bought this today. I was carefully going over my cardi when it tore a hole in the sleeve. I’m so upset. There was no indication it might actually tear a large hole in the item I was hoping to renew.

Expensive but fabulous
Bought this in desperation as nothing else has worked well. As a knitter I have a lot of jumpers some of which are badly pilled. I'd dithered over this for a while due to the cost, but decided to get it and I am SO pleased I did. So far I've done 1 jumper and the photo.shows just how much I got off it. It doesn't quite look brand new again, but almost. 2 friends noticed the difference which is pretty impressive!

Best Fabric Shaver ever
I can't remember how many shavers I've tried over the years, all except the original Remington from about 40 years ago has been any good ... until now! This Russell Hobbs is seriously brilliant. I can't believe how quickly it does a lovely job of removing bobbles from different jumpers. I thought it might be clumsy to use but it is very well balanced and comfortable.

Great fabric shaver, best I have come across!
I bought this cordless fabric shaver based on reviews, and I am not disappointed. It is the best fabric shaver I have used in over 15 years and is definitely worth the money compared to the Philips which is more expensive, but not as good as this Russell Hobbs one. It is easy to use, easy to charge and make sure you follow the instructions for a professional finish. If you really want to make your items look new again, this is the one to buy and recommend it :-)
