The SMARTCHARGE 8 from Ring Automotive features an efficient nine-stage charging cycle and supports 12V and 24V batteries including Lithium-Ion. Its compact design, clear display, and intelligent one-touch operation make it ideal for maintaining cars, motorcycles, and caravans. Built with safety in mind, it includes polarity and short circuit protection and an IP65 weather-resistant design. Easy-to-use crocodile clips, a hanging hook, and o-ring connectors provide convenience without detaching the battery.

"The charger needs to see a minimum of about 3 Volts on the battery. It won’t attempt to charge a completely dead battery."

I don’t think it would be suitable if the battery is completely flat.
