The built-in timer makes life easier by switching the lights on for 8 hours and off for 16 hours automatically, so you don't have to remember to flick a switch every evening. It runs on 3 AA batteries (not included), meaning you can place it anywhere without hunting for plug sockets or trailing cables through your space. The 82 LED bulbs are included, so you've got everything you need except the batteries to get started straight away.
