About this product
This Keter Darwin shed stores garden tools, bikes and outdoor equipment with year-round protection from rain and damp. It's made from Evotech Composite resin that resists fading and won't warp or crack like timber. The double doors open wide for easy access to everything inside. A clear window provides natural light so you can see what you're storing without opening the doors.
The solid floor panel keeps mud and rainwater out while you organise your space. Built-in ventilation allows airflow to stop condensation building up inside. Lockable doors accept a padlock for security. The resin construction needs no painting or ongoing maintenance. Assembly takes two people a few hours with just a hand drill and step ladder. You'll have organised, weatherproof storage that looks after itself.

I bought this shed to replace a rotten wooden one as we cant have a wooden shed anymore it was easy enough to put up and it looks very good as well...time will tell if it can stand the elements.

Really impressed!
Really happy with the shed - it was delivered on time with no damage or missing peices. Found it easy to put up, it took just under 5 hours doing it slowly, though we did find it a little bit awkward when attaching the roof. It was a little unlevel at first because of the paving slabs underneath but that was easily resolved by sliding a wedge under one side as suggested in the instructions. The shed looks great in the garden (not cheap plastic) and I especially love the roof light. It hasn't rained yet so can't speak for weather-resistance but it's really well made so should be fine.

Excellent Shed
We purchased this about a month ago & were really surprised by how easy it was to assemble it took around 4 hours. The day after the weather was dreadful rainy / windy the shed withstood it admirably (bone dry inside). We would definitely recommend purchasing this shed.

Very pleased with the shed
Very pleased with this. It is easy to assemble with no heavy parts involved, though an electric screwdriver is essential. Pretty much a one person job, even for the few steps that call for two. Not sure what expected build time is but I think it took me c15 hours. The white strip along the roof allows additional light and the wood effect finish looks great.

Disappointed
Not impressed with the quality of the shed. The panels are not very sturdy. The whole shed is only held together with 10 mil screws and a few thin metal struts. And only one strut across the centre of the roof. I used extra bolts and fixing band for extra strength. Panels also didn't fit together very well. My Dad has had a Lifetime shed for over 10 years that he got 2nd had and it's built like a tank. He has a Keter storage seat made just as strong. I thought I was purchasing similar quality product. Sadly not if I'd seen one to look at in person I wouldn't have bought it. Maybe new sheds just aren't made as well as old one's. Can't knock Argos competitively priced compared to other retailers and a swift good delivery. Just disappointed with the shed for how much it cost. Will it last only time will tell. 🫥

Ok shed
The shed itself is good. However the assembly was not as easy as that. The little holes for screws didn't line up for anything. Instructions say you need just a drill and that is not the case. I can't say we are experts but we have built enough DIY to know this was a cheap and fast production. The shed itself is good now that's it's built but the building process took about 6 hours and more tools that you would think. In addition once built, there is a gap between door and floor, so don't position it in a place where water can gather

Great shed
Delivery excellent as always. Recently got wardrobes collected and re delivered as 2 X parcels were duplicates. Lady on phone said I would get an eCard . I had to move a repackage them ready for collection. But never got one. Bit annoying as I knew I was ordering shed... Shed great delivery on time courteous . Thank you delivery guys. Same guy that delivered corrected wardrobes previous week too. So always handy with someone with local knowledge

Just fantastic
Purchased this to replace an ancient wooden shed. Really easy to put up and looks great. Got a couple of plastic shelf units for storage and I can easily say it's a massive improvement on our creaky/ leaky old shed.

Great size, and easy to put up.
Bought this a good few months ago, and considering the dreadful weather we have had since, it has done a darn fine job standing up to the rain and winds and it’s confirmed Watertite ! The day we erected the shed , it was very breezy which made it a little difficult, along with the self appointed foreperson (wife ) 😂 who didn’t like doing what she was asked to do or even reading the instructions added to the difficulty, but after a cup of tea, and a little tuition, all was settled and now with only the wind to contend with, it was all done within a few hours. Just make sure your base is flat and firm. Glad I went for the 6 x 8, rather than the 4x6.

Our supplier has advised that the Keter Darwin Apex Garden Storage Shed 6 x 8ft - Brown must be installed on a level concrete or wooden base. A plastic base will result in warping of the walls and damaging the shed and does void the warranty.
