Lightweight sweeper
I bought this 2 weeks ago to replace my carpet sweeper which is the same model as the new one, but with added features when charging. Indicator light is red at the start of charging, then turns amber when almost charged and finally green. It’s a light carpet sweeper and does a good job on floors and carpets, lifts dirt well. My previous Gtech model was excellent and I had it for 8 or 9 years. I hope the new model will be as good.

Amazingly light!
I bought this for my mum as she is having trouble using her heavy vacuum. I’ve had the GTech Air Ram for a few years contrast the brand. This is so light and yet brilliant at picking up from the carpet and wooden floor. And my mum can use it every day easily if she wants to. Highly recommend, thinking of one for myself too!

Great for a quick clean
I bought two, one for myself and one for my mum. Really light weight and ideal for putting over the house for a quick clean. It quite powerful and has coped well with the pet hair.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gtech SW02 Advanced Cordless Power Carpet Sweeper: Depending how long the bristles and threads on the carpet are, there is the potentiality of it being caught up in the brushes. We always advise customers to try out on an unobtrusive piece of carpet first. On most of our machines it is usually possible to remove the brush bars, and just rely on the suction to remove dust / dirt etc.

A sweeper is quieter and doesn't suck up the dust, a vacuum is louder and will deep clean by sucking up the dust.

Gtech SW02 Advanced Cordless Power Carpet Sweeper.
To use the sweeper on the stairs the long pole has to be removed, then remove the visor by unclipping the bottom outer edges at the same time then lifting off. Push lower handle fully forward. Starting at the top and front of each step then moving down and towards you. It also shows in the manual how this is done.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gtech SW02 Advanced Cordless Power Carpet Sweeper: All our vacuums are able to handle picking up dog hair, however, if the dog is a heavy at loosing its coat I would not recommend the sweeper.
