Great little sweeper
I purchased this as I wanted a small sweeper . I am very pleased with all aspects. It soon charged up pick up was good easy to empty and very light and manoeuvrable. This is the smallest of the gtech range and would consider getting a bigger Gtech model when I need to replace the main vacuum

This is my third cleaner and each one has worked a treat. In my opinion this is the best electric cleaner on the market. It allows me to quickly clean any mess before I go to bed. If you have a cat or dog you will be surprised at how much hair it picks up after you have vacuumed. The run time is great manoeuvrability is great especially good good for my wife as she has back problems and the unit is very light compared to our vacuum. Easy to use, easy to empty and long run time. What more do you need…

Versatile,lightweight & easy to use. Having had one of these for years (still working but in need of a little bit of tlc now) Decided to purchase two new ones (one for home & other for holiday caravan) Having one messy individual (Me!) & a dog, My partner swears by these for cleaning up the mess Myself & dog leave on the carpets. Disappointed
This is my 3rd GTech over the past ten or twelve years - I’ve loved the last two & used them almost daily. However this new one is very different. It’s much more noisy, doesn’t run along the floor as smoothly and definitely does not pick up as well. Very sad customer 😢

Grech rechargeable carpet sweeper.
I bought this for my 94 year old mother to just run around to pick bits up in between the cleaner coming in once a week. Charged it up and gave it to her. Three days later the rubber strip underneath came off. I put it back on but still it came off. It also started to throw the dirt back out onto the carpet. So, I took it back and got a refund. Wasn't very impressed at all. My mother had over the last few years had a Bissell sweeper so I bought another one of them and earls great. I was very disappointed with the Gtech one though.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gtech SW02 Advanced Cordless Power Carpet Sweeper: Depending how long the bristles and threads on the carpet are, there is the potentiality of it being caught up in the brushes. We always advise customers to try out on an unobtrusive piece of carpet first. On most of our machines it is usually possible to remove the brush bars, and just rely on the suction to remove dust / dirt etc.

A sweeper is quieter and doesn't suck up the dust, a vacuum is louder and will deep clean by sucking up the dust.
