Does what is says
I have been using this for two days, up till now it has been a godsend. Pros: it eats branches with ease Loud enough to upset your neighbours but won’t deafen you. Cons: it gets clogged easily so when you empty the bag you need to unclog it. The opening is rather small. As a cheap shredder it’s an awesome piece of kit, it’s eaten two large holly trees with ease.

Might have got a dud, but wouldn't recommend
It was easy to use and shredded small branches well, but it was noisy while doing so. However, it only lasted for 10 minutes before it died and never worked again. At least the Argos returns process was good though.

Excellent buy for a compact shredder
Compact, lightweight and stable. Good capacity and safe to operate with the feed only allowing the right sized branches through. Shreds dried branches very easily but can get clogged up with freshly cut foliage. Overall a great buy at this price point.

I bought this 3 days ago used once and the stoped working very noisy and cheaply made would not advise to purchase

Overall a pretty good buy.
I had some old overgrowth that would have been a nightmare to take to the tip. So I got this hoping it would chew up the branches etc. I wasn't expecting too much given the price but I've been pleasantly surprised. It happily chews through old branches up to about 2 inches (as advertised) which is all I wanted. I would recommend some earplugs if you're standing over it for an hour or so. It's not incredibly noisy but it can leave your ears humming. The only drawbacks are that it's a bit 'fiddly' making sure the collection bag stays attached and the plastic 'push stick' for shoving through the branches through is a poor design. So, overall a decent bit of kit for the money.

Made a project easier...
Bought for a specific project, finally taking out a hedge. Put together quite easily, however written instructions contradict images but once you've worked it out it's easy. Did cut out a few times on first use but once I got into a feeding rhythm it was a breeze. It does come with a bag to catch shreds however I was able to put my own sacks on to accommodate more and take for recycling without having to transfer. Overall very happy with it for the price paid.

Definitely worth buying, great bit of kit
I used this for 4 hours straight on trees I cut in my garden. Very impressed on how well it handles branches for the price! Makes easy work of branches up to 4.5cm thick as long as they are fairly straight, easy to cut any branches with saccaters beforehand for any that are too odly shaped. It came with a waste bag which hooks on underneath to catch all the chipping it makes. Only blocked up once, that was down to me putting lots of branches with ivy on which were slightly damp, only had to pop it open and use my hand to pick out the bits which it didn’t like, pop it closed and off it went again. Would definitely recommend, won’t get anything better for the price
