The Habitat Elias Fabric 2 Seater Recliner Sofa gives you a comfortable place to settle back and unwind together after a long day. Both seats recline independently, so you can each find your own level of comfort. A built-in button lets each seat glide back smoothly when you're ready to relax. The cushioned high back supports your head and neck. Pocket sprung foam-filled seats keep their shape through repeated use. The modern grey flat weave fabric works with most living room styles, and the black metal feet lift the frame neatly off the floor.
The mains operation means there's no batteries to replace or charging to remember. Regular cleaning is recommended to keep the fabric looking its best. The black metal feet keep it stable and lift the frame off the floor for easy hoovering underneath. Self-assembly required with clear instructions provided. Covered by the manufacturer's two-year guarantee.

Thanks for your query about the Elias Fabric 2 Seater Recliner Sofa - Grey.
The back rest tilts with the tilting of the seat as it reclines. Therefore, to have the back rest in the upright position, you cannot also have it reclined.
The full height of the item, when the seat is in the upright position, is 95cm. The seat height is 47cm from the floor and the seat back is 41cm.
When reclined, the size of the back rest does not change, it's still 41cm from end to end, but it sits lower down at 85cm as it's now at an angle.

The supplier has advised the following for the Elias Fabric 2 Seater Recliner Sofa - Grey.
"In summary:
-Attach 4 metal legs using allen key provided, and 8 plastic legs (screw in)
-Connect LH and RH seat unit together, there are brackets on each component that fit together
-Attach both LH and RH back rests to the seat. Fittings on both components are aligned and slide in place to secure.
-Plug in transformer and plug"
