About this product
The GC-PM 46/5 S self-propelled petrol lawn mower is a robust and powerful tool, ideal for lawns up to 1,400 m. Its single-cylinder, four-stroke engine delivers high torque, while the disengageable rear-wheel drive means it powers through grass. The nine-stage central cutting height adjustment allows precise mowing. Features include an easy-start cable on the guide bar, a foldable handle for height adjustment and compact storage, and a durable powder-coated steel housing. It has a large grass collection sack with a fill level indicator.
The robust 4-stroke engine with 132 cc capacity delivers up to 2 kW ower and achieves an idle speed of 2,900 rpm.
With the 9-stage, central cutting height adjustment from 25 mm to 80 mm, the lawn mower can be individually adapted to each lawn.
The foldable guide bar saves space when stowing the cordless lawn mower, which can fit into the smallest of garden sheds.
With a capacity of 65 litres, the durable nylon grass collection sack with fill level indicator provides plenty of space for cuttings.

Ferrari red Einhell 46cm self propelled mower
I bought this to replace a same size qualcast mower. I've only used it about 3 times so far, but I am impressed how well it coped with the first mow of the season. It cut the grass effortlessly, started first time ( has done on each occasion that I have used it ) It sounds good and looks good. It has numerous height settings and was very simple to put together. It also does a nice evening cut. It comes with no oil. On my last mower, the grass basket sat in metal holders, on this one, the grass basket sits on plastic holders. How long that will last remains to be seen. The self propell works great and is quite powerful, which is great as I have a large lawn, though I do try to use it as little as possible as on my last mower, the self propelled mechanism failed after about 5 years. I would have liked to have left this review until the end of the season but the way Argos does reviews doesn't allow this as far as I'm aware? But at the moment, I'm really happy with this mower.

Replacement of my old trusted Einhell petrol mower
Bought this to replace my old trusted petrol mower yes an Einhell electric start self propelled same cut width. After 17 years of regular use it was time to retire her. The new mower is lighter but not as sturdy with the wheels i think. My old mower had bigger wheels on the rear. New mower no electric start but pull starts first time. Price point was fair for new machine. But initially had stutter problem from engine. I found that the petrol filler cap was blocked hole. I released this with a probe and WD40. all is now good. Cuts well and runs well. Lets hope it lasts as long as the older one.

This doesn't have a dedicated mulch system, but you could use it without the basket and test to see if the blades will mulch the grass to feed back into the ground.
