Works well 😊
I bought these gates to deter my parent, who has Alzheimer’s, from climbing the stairs. They work perfectly. Easy to install - my first solo use of a power tool! The simple catch is a press down and lift up - so my Dad hasn’t been able to open it- success.

Perfect fit and safe
Bought a few of these for around the house and these are amazing! Personally think these are safer and more durable due to them being wall mounted. Recommend

Baby Dan baby gates
Bought this the other week, very flimsy had to reinforce one with wood. The other one in the pack had missing piece (the hook) so cannot put it up at all. Spoke to someone and they said they don’t do spare parts for it and cannot return as chucked the box out so waste of money

Easy to assemble
This safety gate is too easy to open in reality a small child just has to watch how you do it to figure it out themselves and could cause accidents with trapped fingers. Also could do with a one way latch to close it without having to lift

A great buy
Bought this and still doing okay. It’s come off from the door frame because of kids trying to climb it but gate itself it’s still strong and sturdy and still serving a great purpose

Ok
Fits perfectly!!!!!!

Just what we needed
Simple stair gate, easy to install and use. Does what it’s supposed to do. Only issue is that one of ours is slightly stiff to close but I think that’s down to how my husbands fitted it!

Does what it says on the tin

Hello Ellie,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BabyDan No Trip Safety Gate - Twin Pack: ''The no trip gate is a wall fixed gate so the opening is pretty much (give a cm or 2) the same width as the door. Its just small hinges you would apply to the door frame.''
Thank you for using Q & A.

"If mounting onto brick it may be necessary to mount a wooden batten on the wall"
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi,
I can confirm these gates need to be fixed into the wall. I would suggest pressure fit gates, please see some here - https://www.argos.co.uk/search/pressure-fit/?...
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
Yes. There's a clip at the top which can be removed so the whole gate lifts up, leaving the wall fixings in place
Hi there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know the 4 fittings in the corners of the No Trip metal safety gate can be used to adjust the width of the gate from 72 cm - 78.5 cm.
The wall fittings have to be right opposite each other or the gate can’t close.
