This Petface Comfort Dog Harness in extra small gives excitable dogs the support they need without applying strain to delicate neck areas. The adjustable nylon padding spreads pressure across the chest, which helps calm pulling behaviour and makes walks more enjoyable. Suitable for extra small dogs up to 5kg, the black design works with the harness structure to redirect pulling force.

Seems like decent quality but is too small for my dog. Every other extra small fits him perfectly but yours is too tight. So more for a smaller dog than a Jack russell pup.

Could do with being more adjustable
I bought this for my puppy so he could get used to wearing a harness at home before he is allowed to venture out into the big wide world. It is well made. Fabric is soft, slightly stretchy and breathable, so I guess is comfortable for the dog to wear. It goes on over the dogs head and is adjustable only at the chest. I particularly wanted a harness that went over the head, as suspected this would be easier with a puppy than the majority of harnesses that the dog has to "step into". It was easy to put on, and my puppy was quite happy to have it put on and removed. However - the fact that the neck is not adjustable at all meant that after only 3 days I struggled to get the harness off, because obviously my puppy was growing lol - so if buying for a puppy bear this in mind. This is the reason I have knocked a star off my rating. Fortunately, a friend has a new, smaller puppy so I have passed this on to her for her little pup

Unsuitable
I bought this for our new 11 week old puppy. The harness did fit, however the puppy didn't like having it put over his head. This method of putting it on isn't the best way for a new puppy, in my opinion and based on his reaction. I purchased one that you put his legs into, far more acceptable to the puppy and much easier to put on.

There is a ring on the top section that goes down the dogs back that the lead will attach too.

The supplier has advised the following for the Petface Comfort Dog Harness - Extra Small:
"We do not recommend this. A kitten should not wear a dog harness because they are designed for different body types, and a dog harness is likely to be ill-fitting and unsafe for a cat. A dog harness may be too loose around a cat's narrow shoulders, allowing them to escape, or too restrictive, restricting movement and causing discomfort, chafing, or stress."
