There is room for the charging cable in the exterior pocket and the detachable handle (which was detached and inside the bag when I received it) makes it easy to carry. It has a cushioned interior which is nylon covered. Something else to factor in is that my chrome book fits in nicely but there is not enough space for the charging cables etc.
