Used for the first time today and the rice was cooked to perfection. You can cook a little to a lot. Easy to use. I just left it to it and it timed itself, switching off and onto keeping it warm. I know this will get used a lot.

If you know how to cook rice then this is all you really need. Works just fine for basmati and brown rice. Could do with an appropriate steamer basket but overall a good value rice cooker.

''Rice cooking tips

* For fluffier rice, add a little extra water and for firmer rice add a
little less.
* This rice cooker is best suited to cooking white rice. If using rice
varieties with longer cooking times (e.g. brown rice) add extra
water at the start to prolong the cooking time.
* Some rice may benefit from stirring towards the end of their
cooking time to prevent burning.''
