Good iron
This iron is a replacement for a similar Russell Hobbs model that gave up after about 7 years of use. I 'm hoping it will last as long as the other one. It's a nice iron and heats up quickly and glides smoothly. The water tank is large so very rarely need refilling during the session. The steam function is good with giving deep penetration when required. The temperature appears to be stable and the settings appear to correctly calibrated for the various material options.

Russell Hobbs speed glide iron
Recently purchased as a replacement. Light, easy to iron. Good length of wire. Only issue I initially had was the iron kept spitting out the specially purchased iron water soaking the bed linen so I gave in and am using softened tap water instead!

Good iron
Easy iron to use, suitable weight for someone with arthritis and a cheerful colour. Price point also good. I have no issues with cable length as previously mentioned in reviews but I’ve always used an extension lead anyway.
