Easy iron to use, suitable weight for someone with arthritis and a cheerful colour. Price point also good. I have no issues with cable length as previously mentioned in reviews but I’ve always used an extension lead anyway.

I chose this iron for its stainless steel sole plate, a preference of mine for cleanliness on the sole plate and smooth glide on fabrics. Very pleased with quality and performance. Price was marked down in a sale. Wouldn’t have chosen a purple iron but the colour doesn’t matter so considered this a very good purchase. Argos in Sainsbury’s at Gloucester Quays is an excellent, convenient shop.
