About this product
Come home to a hot meal simmering all day. The Cookworks Slow Cooker uses low, steady heat to turn tougher meat cuts and vegetables into tender stews, casseroles and soups. Its ceramic bowl holds 3-4 portions, ideal for couples or small families, and 200W power keeps food cooking efficiently. With 3 heat settings including a keep warm function, your meal stays ready even if you're late. The toughened glass lid lets you check progress without losing heat, and the removable ceramic bowl makes serving and cleaning easy.
It's compact enough to sit on your worktop without dominating the space. The inner pot needs hand washing along with the lid, but that's a small trade-off for a properly cooked meal with minimal effort. You'll get a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee for reassurance.

The supplier has advised. A full chicken may fit in the Cookworks 3.5L Slow Cooker, but it depends on the size and shape of the chicken.
A small to medium-sized whole chicken (around 1.5-2 kg) should fit comfortably in a 3.5L slow cooker.
However, a larger chicken (over 2.5 kg) may not fit.

Page 4 in the manual advises:
6. When the bowl has preheated, place the ingredients into the
removable bowl. Do not overfill and do not fill to the brim.
7. Refit the lid and select the cooking temperature of choice.
