Does not fit
Please take note that if you purchase the SureFlap pet door you need to purchase the SureFlap pet glass adaptor directly from the company not ARGOS. This product is not compatable with SureFlap pet door. Who knew pet doors flaps were different! To be fair Argos refunded adaptor without any issues but a clear description would have been more helpful.

Necessary purchase
Bought this to enable a sureflap cat flap to be fitted into glass . It does the job but is only a bit of plastic and seems overpriced I can't think why it isn't included when purchasing the cat flap. Or rather I can, as it is another means of making extra revenue.

To fit your cat flap into glass, you will require a circular
hole to be cut measuring 212 mm (8 3/8'') in diameter.
This will need to be done by a professional glazier.
To ensure your cat has unhindered access through the cat
flap, you will need to make sure that this circular hole is
cut at the appropriate height. Do this by first measuring
the height from your cat’s tummy to the floor.

For the Pet door, you will need the SureFlap Pet door mounting adaptor. if not available in Argos try the Surepetcare website,

Working with glass is a skilled job and should be carried out by a professional glazier. It is not possible to cut holes in toughened glass or double glazed units except at the time of manufacture. Please consult a glazier.

The diameter of the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap mounting adaptor is 285mm an therefore too large for the panel, however it is plastic and can be trimmed to fit.
