Toasts evenly both sides - Slots bit too narrow
Works fine. Controls in middle of long side great for where I have it against a wall. The one design feature that's not so great is that the slots are quite narrow meaning thicker cut loaf slices aren't easy to get out, even though drop in fine. Toasts fairly evenly, and even between sides which is improvement on last one of these I had.

Not a great toaster
Design & plastic construction materials means that the inside surface of the bread receives heat from two heating elements. As a result the outside surface is browned perfectly but the inside surface is burnt.

Simple slim style toaster for 4 slices. I guess you get what you pay for. It’s a little narrow if I’m honest for a thiicket slice of bread. I do also miss the cancel button for that reason . Burns my thin Danish but not quiet enough for thick bread.

Slots not quite wide enough
I've wanted a toaster like this for a long time, and finally bought it. I was expecting the slots to be not quite deep enough for my home made bread, so that's not a problem. However I was not expecting frozen crumpets to be too wide for the toaster, and this is disappointing - I thought the slots would be wide enough. Toast quality is fine otherwise.

We had the same problem. We replaced it with a 4 individual slot toaster in the end.
