Clearly it is not 40 wide and 90 depth.
The width is 90 and the depth is 40 .

Bought this yesterday. Comes wrapped in plastic, not in a box. Size is 40cm x 27cm x 90cm. Easy fit on the back seat of a car!
The five shelves are stacked on top of each other with the legs and feet etc. stored inside the hollow bit.
