This product is effective and I assume it would be unwise to try other products with the Hydrovac.

Smells nice and water that is picked up is dirty, this must mean the product works but i have not tried without ie just water

Although this solution can help get rid of bacteria, it is mainly designed for removing stains and getting rid of odours. It is not specifically suited for getting rid of bacteria.
This solution is designed for Shark HydroVac Cleaners, and it is not advisable to apply it to Shark Robots.
