Customers Say
Shark robot vacuum offers good cleaning, especially for pet hair and hard floors, with easy setup and mapping. However, app issues, limited mapping (one floor), and mop functionality needing manual refills are common drawbacks.

Overall good
I bought this products before Christmas overall it’s been very good from a functional perspective. I have however been more disappointed in the fact that there’s already a bit that has broken off (the release cap).

Expensive gadget
I had high hopes for this, especially given the price, but it’s been really disappointing. It struggles to clean properly, doesn’t reach corners as advertised, and frequently loses connection, which means I’ve had to remap rooms multiple times. It also misses large areas when vacuuming, so the results are far from thorough. One of the biggest letdowns is that it can’t vacuum and mop in a single run—you have to choose one or the other, which defeats the purpose of a “2-in-1” device. On top of that, it takes around 45 minutes to clean a small space and still doesn’t do a good job. Honestly, a quick manual vacuum does a much better job in less time. Overall, it seemed like a great idea, but in reality it’s an expensive gadget that doesn’t deliver. I’d recommend sticking with a regular vacuum instead.

Fantastic product
I absolutely love this machine. My friend and her daughter bought too and agree it’s a good send. We have 2 dogs and a large kitchen. Steve McQueen is programmed to clean every night and he’s there without fail. Set up was really easy and I watch his progress and he barely misses a spot. The side brush helps when he can’t reach corners. Mopping is great too. Easy to just add water and the mop plate. I do regular spot cleans and they are great too. I couldn’t live without Steve, he’s a blessing. This is a product I’d never have thought about buying a while ago.

Great at discount price
Great at the discount price I got it for. Not sure id have paid full price. We set it to clean each evening on our downstairs wooden floors which is great for us as no carpet etc. Don’t expect it to be as clean as a mop and bucket/hot water job. It’s more for light cleaning each day which works well for us.

Yes, you can use the Shark Matrix Plus 2‑in‑1 in more than one place, including multiple floors, but with a few practical notes, due to Multi Floor / Multi Location Use technology.
This robot vacuum uses "Matrix Clean technology", which allows it to make multiple passes over dirt and debris, ensuring no spot is missed. The self-cleaning brush roll digs nicely into carpets, while the "CleanEdge Detect" blasts debris out of corners for powerful cleaning around the edges of your house. The app setup is easy to do, and it includes Amazon Alexa compatibilities. The self-emptying base ensures that the maintenance of it does not become a chore. You will only need to empty it once every 30-60 days. Other self-empty robot vacuums such as the RV2900XEUK, AV2820VEUKWH and the RV2800ZEUKWH all have similar capabilities, and it boils down to your needs and preference.
We can confirm that this robot vacuum is suitable for cleaning carpets. However, it is not as effective for very thick carpets. It is mainly made for low and medium pile carpets. This vacuum can lift itself up to a maximum of 11.5cm when it comes to obstacles.
Yes, it can clean without ever being connected to the internet. Start and pause a run with the Clean button on the robot and it will return to the dock when finished. App features like mapping setup, room selection, no go zones, schedules and updates require Wi Fi; without the app, block off restricted areas physically.
To vacuum with the Self-Empty feature, use the Self-Empty Dust Bin. Do not install the Vac & Mop 2-in-1 Dust Bin.
