I replaced a floating shelf that just couldn't take the load. The 3 point fixation on the shelves make them very sturdy.

I love these I have a sideboard in the same range and the shelves are above it ,they look great , they are a bit darker but it doesn't matter and they were a bargain I think they look expensive.

Apart from the 'ultra modern' style - the frame acts to serve as a bookend - keeps things neat and tidy and is as solid as a rock - my assembly tip - 'keep everything but the top wall screw loose until you have it completely level in all directions - then put in the bottom screws slightly loose - tighten all the frame screws before finishing off the bottom wall screws - and - it is not a critizism - but I used my own raw plugs and screws
