Customers Say
LG 55QNED70A offers vibrant picture quality, good sound, and user-friendly interface. Some find setup and AI features challenging. Great value for mid-range buyers, though not premium performance.

Too much lag, makes it impossible to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was very easy and the TV linked to all of my other equipment straight away (although it does struggle with my Sony surround sound system and often disconnects). The image quality is excellent, particularly when watching 4K. Although viewing from a side angle is not the best. The biggest problem is the operating system. It's like trying to use a 20 year old PC. It's so, so slow. I've had to disable the AI functions and remove as many of the pre-installed apps as possible just to speed it up a bit. The Live TV guide is the worst. The TV is connected to fibre broadband via ethernet cable, so its not a network issue. But, it's almost unusable. I completely regret buying this TV and wish I could return it if I'm really honest. Avoid it and look for something with a much quicker operating system as the lag on this LG TV, might drive you to despair!!!

Works well but cluttered user interface
My initial impression of this TV when I turned it on was good but once I go to the home page, I found the page so cluttered, mostly with stuff that I really did not need, that I could barely work out how to do what I wanted to. For instance, I tried the LG channels, but then could not work out how to get back to live TV. After a lot of hunting around, I found out how to change the order the apps and put live TV near the front of the app list where it should be. The spoken AI interface took a bit of getting used to as there is a significant delay between pressing the microphone button and the box appearing on the screen. Once I worked that out, I spent some time exploring the limits of the system. It is good at finding content in the many channels and apps. It also helped me find the settings to display the model and serial number (something I could not find manually from any of the menus). However, it is not something I have used much since then. The remote is generally good, but I often find myself pressing the home button instead of the volume control. Annoying, but I guess I'll get used to it. I also find the on screen pointer difficult to use, but I have worked out how not to use it for common operations. With hindsight, I should have gone to a shop where I could try out the TV and remote first, so I could decide If I liked the TV. I was in a bit of a hurry, so just went with what I could find on the internet. The product pages sell features but do not give you any idea of how easy to use the TV is. Having said all that, now that I have spent some time configuring the TV, everything works well and seems to be reliable. The picture and sound is good. So could do better, hence the 4 star rating.well

Overall good, but complicated to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave 4 stars because the TV is good value and high quality screen with good graphics and sound. However I found it complicated to set up with confusing options and little guidance. My controller doesn't have an input button and it took an internet search how to change my HDMI input. I don't like the initial Home Screen set-up with all the advertising that comes with it, but eventually (with internet help) found out how to change this. I believe its going to be a good TV in the long run but the early user experience is disappointing.
