Easy to assemble and sturdy once in ground
These obelisks are excellent value.. I found them easy to assemble, although in fairness I have done this many times. Once they were put in the ground they are very stable (they seem a bit wobbily beforehand) I am very pleased with my purchases and would recommend them to anyone

Good vfm
These obelisks are fantastic for the price. If you are expecting to receive one of the hand forged, solid metal frames you can buy in garden centres for £200, you will be disappointed. But these are decent enough & for the price, excellent value for money.

Fabulous
Absolute bargain . Bought in the sale they are quite tall but I used the top three levels and pinned the last hoop to the ground to establish a rose and climber .

Good obelisks for the garden
A lot sturdier than I thought they would be and easy to put together. Both look great in the garden supporting various plants. Good price in the sale.

Hello there,
For the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack.
These are size H190, W39, D39cm.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack: ''They are tubular.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
They're tubular - pretty sturdy. I've had mine since early Spring and so far they've stood up well to weather and under the (fairly minor) weight of a young honeysuckle, and a young jasmine.
Yes
Hello Patricia,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
You would need to assemble this, the product is shipped flat-packed.
Yes, this product would be fine to use in large garden tubs for climbers. You’d need to be sure the tub is stable and big enough for this use and you’d need to be sure that the Obelisk can be fixed deep enough that it too would remain stable in the pot.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes, it needs to be assembled. I am not sure about large tub but they look nice in a 40 lts pot.

Since you get 2 in the pack you can use some of the 2nd obelisks upright and a ring, but this means the 2nd one will be short.
Hi There,
Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack
Having checked I can see we do not have any support legs available for this obelisk.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Vm214,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
“ This product can used for climbing beans, that’s a very good idea. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Perfectly strong, although I would recommend really pushing the legs far into the ground for those very windy days. Or better still, sink them into some Postcrete.
Hello Neet,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
The load capacity of this product is about 2kg, so it’s strong enough to support climbing roses.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Possibly - we use them for raspberries, which are quite sturdy
Yes, absolutely. I purchased these for some shrub roses that I know will grow much higher but would currently look silly in these obelisks if they were fully constructed, there would be way too much height to them compared to the size of the plant. So I put them together without the mid section and middle ring, it is very stable. When the roses grow taller in a year or two I will easily be able to add in the middle section to make the obelisks higher.
YES! Due to the legs being in sections the height can be reduced by 2ft approx.
Just make sure that you take our a section that supports one of the rings, not the actual leg sections themselves.
Hi Abe
We would not suggest leaving out a rung as this will impact on the stability of the product
Thanks for using Q & A
The legs need to be pushed far into earth for stability. I think their photo is a photoshopped image for illustrative purposes only, they would be useless sitting directly on concrete as they would get blown over quite quickly.
Hi there,
I can confirm in the images shown the Obelisk is not fixed on the paving slabs.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi JJ,
A 50cm pot would be better if you want to fit the obelisk inside the pot.
Thank you for using Q&A
When constructed, the bottom of the legs are 36-40 cm across at their furthest point - so a 50cm pot is better, especially if it tapers towards the bottom as most pots do
