About this product
Trimming tall shrubs without a ladder? The Spear and Jackson Razorsharp Telescopic Pruner reaches high branches safely from the ground. It's got a carbon steel head that combines a lopper and saw for versatile cutting. You'll handle stems up to 30mm with the lopper section. The saw tackles thicker branches that need more aggressive cutting. The telescopic handle extends up to 92 inches so you'll reach overhead growth comfortably. This tool keeps you grounded while maintaining trees and tall shrubs effectively.
The carbon steel blade stays sharp through regular pruning tasks. You'll switch between cutting methods without changing tools. The extendable design means you won't need a ladder for most jobs. It's practical for gardeners who want safe access to higher branches. The dual cutting options handle different branch thicknesses efficiently. This pruner gives you reach and versatility in one tool.

Sharp, effective telescopic pruner with great reach for high branches. Well-made and durable, though somewhat heavy and saw attachment can be fiddly. Ideal for safe, ladder-free pruning.

Fantastic Tool That Does the Job!
I needed something that would easily chop some of my very tall cherry tree branches down without having to climb a ladder to do so. I came across this brand and product and read up on some of the reviews which were very positive. For the price, I thought I'd give it a go! I'm not disappointed! As per other reviews, it does cut through branches up to 25mm really well. It can cut through slightly thicker branches with a bit more effort! I attached the saw (although the bolt and nut that the instructions refer to wasn't included, so we had to find another solution which was a bit annoying). I managed to cut off branches approx. 90-100mm thick, 3 metres up. The saw takes a while and quite a lot of effort but it provides a clean cut. You do get covered in wood shavings and I'd recommend wearing glasses / sunglasses to protect your eyes as you do get covered as you have to stand underneath where you are sawing! Also when the saw is attached, I found it to get in the way a bit, so maybe cut the smaller branches first and then attach when you're ready to take down bigger branches. It's a fantastic tool. Due to how you use it, it did make my neck sore (from looking up so much!) and my arms a little sore from holding it up, but you just rest in-between cuts! I'm a 50 year old female in case this info helps! I've cut back half my cherry tree so far and waiting for the weekend to do the other half! Go buy it - you won't be disappointed!

Brilliant garden tool
Excellent tool for reaching hard to prune branches. Very sharp & does the job. Only down side is it's a little heavy , but then I'm a pensioner & no doubt the weight wouldn't be a problem for anyone younger.

Sharp stick - as promised.
Very sharp blade, does what it says on the tin. Very effective in giving overhanging trees a bit of a haircut. Of course an extra meter of reach would always improve it! Looks like it should last.

Great but a bit heavy
It definitely works - as a total amateur I could prune some high up growth. The downside is it's heavy. Once I pulled the string to make the cut, I had to catch the pole to stop it toppling forwards with its own weight. I'm a 5'2 gal though so others might manage it easier.

It's great a must buy
Had for a few days, used it straight away. Very sharp, cut 3 trees back with ease. It's very long. Only hitch was kept having to tighten wing nut on saw blade attactment. It alittle heavy, but at least it's strong.

Easy for a short person to use
I was nervous buying this but it was recommended by a gardener, she's used the same one for years and it's still razor sharp. I'm not tall and I could reach to the top of the cherry tree with this, the design is simple and easy to use. I've had it two days but I'll take the professional's word for the durability
