Excellent tree lopper / saw
I used this last night as my other one broke. This Spear and Jackson tool is way better designed as the fixings are metal and not plastic making it very strong. It reached the tree tops comfortably and cut through the branches with ease either with the saw or the pull cord lopper. Standard metal tube handle is absolutely fine and comfortable for the length of time needed.

Great tool!
I bought it for trimming an olive tree into shape. There were a lot of branches that needed cutting (many as thick as a thumb) and I wasn't sure if it would be the correct tool - however, it was GREAT! Easily cut through branches. You obviously need to take the time to align the branches into cutter, but it did the job well. I am really pleased with it!

Handy piece of kit
Bought this a month ago and haven't used the saw attachment yet. It's got a good reach and the sharpness of the cutting blade is great for cutting small out of reach or difficult to access branches. A bit difficult at first to get used to the cutting technique but easily mastered. Saved me from employing a tree surgeon to remove branches from my front garden obscuring a street light.

Excellent piece of kit.
This is now my favourite gardening tool, for the price I wasn't expecting too much, but it is great. Exactly as described and reviewed, very sharp, well made. Easily cut through 35mm diameter branches with ease, the only thing I can say really is take care unpacking, the saw attachment is very very sharp, I suggest you wear gloves š. Obviously as you extend it it gets a little harder to control, but within minutes you get the hang of it. Must have item in the gardening artillery.
