It’s big!
Once assembled the hose works well. It should be noted though that the reel holder is quite large and it does need some quite complicated assembly before use. All the parts are concealed within the wound hose so the hose needs to be unwound to extract the parts before assembly.

Confusing Instructions, Good Product
I picked this up as I needed a hose extender and hozelock was a brand I recognised. Once set up, the product does exactly what it advertises - it is a 25m retractable hosepipe extension. I'd strongly advise anyone purchasing this product to watch the youtube video instructions on how to construct the thing as the paper instructions included are pretty terrible, and there are a few steps that, once completed, are irreversible without damaging the product. It's not a good start when the first step omits to tell you that you have to completely despool all 25m of hose to continue.... That gripe aside, 5/5 for quality, 4/5 for design purely for the irritating instructions.

Great quality
This is our second one purchased. The first was purchased over 10 years ago and we needed to extend the range so we bought another to connect to the original one. This seems like better quality than the first. The hose winds and unwinds a lot smoother. I would recommend.

Good quality but hose can over lap etc when winding it back in, bit of a nuisance trying to turn the handle and making sure hose goes back in without it overlapping etc.

A tidy piece of kit
Bought this to save having rolled-up hosepipe which always kinked and was such a bind to get out and use. This is perfect, and the length is enough to stretch down the drive to clean the car.

Ive since found out you can have the handle on either side but once you choose a side to put it it would be very difficult to change.
