The Microsoft 365 Personal 1 Year, 1 User license after the 12 month period you will need to renew your license.
After 12 months if you do not renew your account will be blocked and you will not be able to use the 365 software.

Lisas answer is incorrect. You can install Microsoft 365 Personal on up to five of your own devices.
