Tried the mower yesterday for the first time and it is perfect for my small lawn. Saves all the hassle of running the extension lead from the kitchen to the garden. Cut the grass much better than my old hover mower. The only downside was assembling the grass hopper which seemed to be a bit misshapen, hence the 4 star rating !!

Complete waste of money - don’t waste waste yours. It seemed like a great price but stopped working after using it only a few times. I saw other reviews like this and thought they were flukes but this was fully charged (a few times) and just stopped doing anything

Having checked the user manual for the McGregor 31cm Cordless Lawnmower - 18V it does advise:
Operate Step 1 - On/Off Operation Press and hold the lock-off safety button to unlock the on/off lever then operate the on/off lever•to switch the mower on. Release the on/off lever to off the mower.

McGregor 31cm Cordless Lawnmower - 18V 718/3494 The handle folds down by unscrewing the 2 screw hands half way down the full handle by loosening them which will allow the top to fold over.
