I was considering a secondhand hedge cutter from marketplace but ,decided on a reasonably priced new one. It was quite easy to build up, if you can cut a hedge you wont have a problem. Being new the sharp blade made light work of various thicknesses of hedge upto about 10mm thickness. Probably lighter than cordless models and the cable is quite long but I did need an extension lead. I would recommend this product.

It's designed for small to medium hedges, with a 16mm maximum cutting diameter. So, for thicker, woody brambles, it's not the best fit
