Shark vacuum cleaner
I bought this as a standby vacuum cleaner for use when the other one needs charging . It's quiet , differentiates between carpet & hard floors . It folds in half so it is free standing when not in use which l feel is quite an advantage . This is purely my choice but l find it a bit heavy with the weight being at the top ( this can be awkward if you have back trouble) . I prefer my G-Tech air ram as the weight is at floor height . I stress that it just my preference .

Time will tell ?
Good suction and easy to use. But battery did not last for 50 minutes as advertised, i have used it on 6 occasions for 5 minutes rach time. On the 7th time of use for a couple of minutes it died battery and was flat and i have not used the boost button as yet. So i am thinking maybe a faulty battery ? I fully charged it before first use. Seems a good machine but im not happy with battery time. I have fully charged again to see how long it lasts on its second charge ?

There is a release button on the back of the handvac, right where the battery sits, and you just have to press it and slide the battery out, and after slide the replacement battery until it clicks in place.
A complete charge can take up to 3 hours.
You can tell the battery percentage by using of the 3 lights located on the side of the battery. Once all 3 lights are lit up, the battery is fully charged.

To do this, please turn off and unplug the vacuum, detach the floor nozzle, and carefully remove any debris using scissors. We do not publish a specific clearance for under furniture use. With the floorhead attached you should allow roughly 2.5 to 3 inches 6.5 to 7.5 cm of height, based on the floorhead height of comparable Shark models, to glide fully underneath; Flexology lets the wand bend to reach low spaces, and for gaps lower than that switch to handheld with the crevice tool.
Fold the wand with Flexology and it freestands for storage, no hook or wall mount needed. It will not stand on its own when left fully upright. A wall mount is not included or compatible.
Yes, you can buy a spare battery for IZ380UK, the correct battery is XSBT600EU.
Yes, it will handle thick, deep pile carpet. Use the Carpet setting for higher brushroll speed and suction, and if it feels hard to push lower the suction by switching to ECO. The floorhead is designed to dig deep into carpet pile for effective pickup.
No, when fully unfolded the IZ380UK does not stand on its own. Fold the wand with MultiFLEX for freestanding storage.
This unit does not come with a charging base; instead, it includes a charger. There are two options for charging this unit. You can either detach the handheld vacuum from the wand and plug the charger into the handheld vacuum's charging port, or you can take the battery out of the vacuum to charge it.
