Mighty cordless!
This vacuum is a powerful beast. I’m used to using Henry hoovers which have unparalleled suction but wanted a cordless for easy daily cleans and this Shark definitely copes with that. I love how lightweight it is and can handle carpets with ease. No regrets with this purchase!

Great vacuum but …
Great vacuum but didn't realise how tiresome it would be having to fold it down each time you want to leave it for a second. Quite heavy for an 80 year old to manoeuvre.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago as it got good reviews. I only used the hand wamd with crevice tool, which had not little brush attached, and it didn’t even remove a cobweb! Thought it would be good for doing the stairs in between main vacuuming but the suction was not great so had to return.

Very pleased
Excellent suction. Automatically switches between carpet and hard floor setting. I use it for the downstairs (lounge, dining, eat in kitchen and utility) and have vacuumed twice on the same charge and still has two of the three battery lights on. Only downside is that it is top heavy and will not stand on its own, you have to lean it against something or fold it over. It would be nice if it came with an optional wall mount, nothing fancy just a u-shape holder.

This Sharks eats dust
Quiet efficient machine, easy to assemble and use. Usefull illuminated indicator for power level and mode of operation. Very handy lights on brush head for use in areas not well lit. Not as heavy as other machines

There is a release button on the back of the handvac, right where the battery sits, and you just have to press it and slide the battery out, and after slide the replacement battery until it clicks in place.
A complete charge can take up to 3 hours.
You can tell the battery percentage by using of the 3 lights located on the side of the battery. Once all 3 lights are lit up, the battery is fully charged.

To do this, please turn off and unplug the vacuum, detach the floor nozzle, and carefully remove any debris using scissors. We do not publish a specific clearance for under furniture use. With the floorhead attached you should allow roughly 2.5 to 3 inches 6.5 to 7.5 cm of height, based on the floorhead height of comparable Shark models, to glide fully underneath; Flexology lets the wand bend to reach low spaces, and for gaps lower than that switch to handheld with the crevice tool.
Fold the wand with Flexology and it freestands for storage, no hook or wall mount needed. It will not stand on its own when left fully upright. A wall mount is not included or compatible.
Yes, you can buy a spare battery for IZ380UK, the correct battery is XSBT600EU.
Yes, it will handle thick, deep pile carpet. Use the Carpet setting for higher brushroll speed and suction, and if it feels hard to push lower the suction by switching to ECO. The floorhead is designed to dig deep into carpet pile for effective pickup.
No, when fully unfolded the IZ380UK does not stand on its own. Fold the wand with MultiFLEX for freestanding storage.
This unit does not come with a charging base; instead, it includes a charger. There are two options for charging this unit. You can either detach the handheld vacuum from the wand and plug the charger into the handheld vacuum's charging port, or you can take the battery out of the vacuum to charge it.
