Hello Caj,
Indesit CYDC82WWGLUK 8KG Condenser Tumble Dryer - White.
Yes, it is normal for the outer surfaces of the dryer to become warm or hot during use. The user manual includes a warning regarding hot surfaces, as heat is generated during the drying process. As long as the appliance is operating normally and there are no warning lights, unusual smells, or signs of overheating, this would not usually indicate a fault. If the appliance becomes excessively hot or you have any concerns about its operation, we recommend contacting Indesit support for further assistance.
Thanks for using Q&A.
