About this product
A gate that fits where others won't. The BabyDan Super Flexi Fit adapts to almost any opening between 67 and 105.5cm, even awkward diagonal spaces. Wall fittings rotate to mount inside or outside the frame, working around wider skirting boards and tricky doorways. Stop pins let you set it to swing one way (handy at the top of stairs) or both directions. When you don't need it up, the quick release system lets you lift the whole gate off its fittings, then click it back on when you do.
The one-handed handle makes it easy to open and close even when you're carrying something (or someone). Triple locking keeps it secure once shut, but releases smoothly when you press the latch. At 73cm tall, it creates a proper barrier without feeling like a climbing challenge. The wide walk-through section means you're not squeezing past every time. Screw-fitted wall brackets hold it firmly in place, and the white finish fits most homes without standing out too much. Suitable for children up to 24 months.

Required a gate that would extend and have no bar at the bottom, this product fitted both those requirement and had a added feature that the gate has a quick release system to lift the gate off its fittings.

Very useful for awkward spaces
Used for a very awkward hallway, set at an angle and it works perfectly. Very adaptable, can be adjusted at each fixing point, fixed at an angle, and opens back against the wall. No trip bar. Easy to open one handed. All at an excellent price. Very happy.

This gate looks great but the first one had screws missing, the exchange also had different screws missing. The local Argos didn’t have another in stock so they reserved the last one at another store we travelled to, which when we got there also had parts missing! If you manage to get a gate with all the necessary fittings I’m sure it would be ideal.

Super flexi fit
I bought this for occasional use when my granddaughter visits and I’m very happy with it. It fitted well across an awkward angle at the top of and I found it easy to fit myself with minimal tools. It’s great that the gate can be taken out from the fittings when not in use.

Easy to install and use. Well worth it.
Easy to install and use even with only 1 hand, but hard enough to stop a small child from unlocking. Feels very durable, our other one has last 2yrs of very boisterous toddler so far as shows no signs of stopped. The way the side attach and it extends in the middle means it is very flexible for various openings and angles that need to be fitted to. We have ours diagonally across a hallway to shut between 2 doors that are offset.

This is able to open at a 90º angle from its hinges. Maximum opening size is 105.5cm.

Having checked the instructions, the barrier fits in to a bracket that needs to be screwed into place. It will require drilling into the wall and bannister.

The supplier has advised the following for the BabyDan Super Flexi Fit Safety Gate:
“ The Flexi fit safety barrier has a manual closing system.
This safety gate is opened in a three-way action, by lifting the section free from the wall bracket and then opening the door either to the right or left. This action can be done with one hand. Always check that the safety barrier is correctly closed and locked. The safety barrier should be checked regularly to ensure that it is secure and functioning in accordance with instructions. ”
