About this product
The McGregror 36volt cordless lawn mower has a 34cm cutting diameter and is therefore suitable for the medium lawn. The mower comes supplied with 2 x 18volt, 2.5Ah lithium batteries and a dual battery fast charger and has a brushless motor for improved battery efficiency and longer life. The cutting range is from 20mm – 70mm and the 6 cutting heights are easy to adjust with the central lever. The large 35 litre hybrid collection bag reduces the time needed to empty the bag and the rear roller helps to establish that striped lawn look.

Good value for money
I bought the mower a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put together. I've always had petrol mowers so it was a massive relief in how easy this mower is to use.. The batteries were fully charged and my worry was that I might not be able to cut the entire lawn however even though this is the first cut of the year I've been able to mow without the need to re-charge. I would definitely recommend thus mower.

Excellent cordless lawnmower.
Bought this to replace an aging Flymo, so glad I did. Having a small garden, it's a breeze using this cordless Mower. The batteries (2) charge up very quickly and provide a long time before needing recharging. The mower itself does a grand job with plenty of adjustment. The minus one star relates to it's assembly. with the grass container proving to be very tricky to attach, requiring a fair bit of muscle. Apart from that I would recommend this mower.

Please be aware
It's smaller than I expected, and it doesn't collect grass cuttings; batteries last about 10 minutes. The manufacturer sent alternative batteries. Argos responded with, as I had already used the lawnmower. so cannot return it. Won't be using Argos in the future. Cannot return any item purchased if used, even if it does work, ridiculous. Please be aware

Great lawnmower
Used this for the first time last week and I enjoyed it so much I wanted to go over my lawn again the very next day, the batteries lasted lomg enough to do my fair sized lawn and don't take too long to charge fully. I could very subtly see stripes but I'm sure it'll be more visible once my lawn is thicker. Its the perfect size and folds up for easy storage, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Not the best
Very lightweight. Struggles on anything but short grass. Not fit for purpose for a decent size garden.

Very pleased so far.
I found this product easy (for me) to assemble. It comes with a pair of batteries (both of which are fitted to the mower simultaneously, and are covered by a lid). I was pleasantly surprised at the speed that the batteries charged (of course it’s possible that they may have been pre-charged before dispatch - I don’t know). The charger takes both batteries at once so there is no waiting for the second battery. Using the mower was a doddle; it is so lightweight compared to my old petrol-driven mower. The roller leaves a stripe effect if that’s what you are looking for. After the winter, my lawn is full of tufts of long grass, moss and bumps from the work of the worms. The first cut at 4 inches (10 cm) was easy, and the collection of cuttings into the bag was problem free. I will have to tamp down the bumps and use sand to fill the hollows so that the lawn is then flat enough to use the mower at lower settings. One problem I had was with height-of-cut setting: it would not stay in the groove for the highest cut, it kept jumping out.
