can this be fitted to block paving

Hello Steve, Yes, the Verona 5000 Carport can be installed on block paving, provided the surface is properly prepared and suitable for anchoring.

For a safe and secure installation, the carport must be fixed to a solid, level base. If your block paving is laid on a well-compacted sub-base (such as hardcore with sand) and is fully stable, installation is possible. However, it is essential that the anchoring bolts go through the paving and into a solid foundation beneath, such as concrete or a reinforced sub-base.

Please note that fixing directly into the paving blocks alone, or installing on loose or uneven paving, is not recommended, as this may affect the stability and performance of the structure—especially in windy conditions.

For best results, many customers choose to create small concrete pads beneath each leg or install the carport onto a full concrete slab to ensure long-term durability and strength.
