Better quality means cleaner drawers
This was bought to replace my mum's old simple one drawer air fryer. I have a different brand at home and I am envious of hers now. It's so easy to use and to clean. The cleaning is always the worst part of having an air fryer but this one cleans so well. I've been hand washing the drawers but they can go in a dishwasher. I was pleasantly surprised that one drawer can fit in my mum's mini table top dishwasher so she could even use that if she feels too tired to hand wash. What I love is that you can cook two different things in each drawer at different settings and sync them so you can be roasting something in one drawer and air frying something else in the other and if they have different times they need to cook, the air fryer simply starts the one sooner and then when it's time to start cooking the other one, it starts that. You can also do the same cooking setting and time in both drawers and get the machine to copy the setting from drawer 1 to drawer 2, so you don't have to repeat the action manually. Very clever. Now for the cooking. Absolutely no problems so far. Food cooks quickly, it's evenly cooked (as it should be) and doesn't come out dry. Yes this costs more than the standard air fryers, but as someone who now has a reasonably nice single drawer non-Ninja air fryer in my own home, I can tell the difference between a premium model and a decent cheaper one. When it comes time to replace mine at home eventually, I'll look for a Ninja. This really makes life easier and the quality of the drawers is superior for keeping clean.

This was our first ever purchase of an air fryer, and although I have only used it twice I am very happy with it. Prior to purchase I spent time doing online research then asking family and friends their opinions on air fryers as I didn't want it to become another back-of-the-cupboard useless gadget. I normally go for cheap 'n' cheerful, but decided to go for one of the best, so I hope it lives up to its hype. So far, so good.

The Ninja Dual Zone Air Fryer not beeping when you press the power button is normal. It will only beep when cooking is complete or when the second zone starts in SYNC mode, so if the display lights up, it’s working as expected.
Yes, you can bake bread in your Ninja Foodi using the BAKE function. Select BAKE, adjust the temperature by reducing standard oven recipes by 10°C, set the time, place the dough in the drawer, and start baking.
