I bought this 3 months ago. I'm very pleased with it. It's handy because of being able to carry it as a rucksack, it keeps things cool with ice packs - I can say definitely 3 hours but that's only because we haven't left food in it any longer. The compartment on the lid is useful, as are the side pockets

Nice bag for 2 people with extra pockets for odds and ends. Light weight and easy to cafry on the back. A but bigger would be nice but only available in 10Lt the one I bought or 20Lt that would be too big for me. 15Lt would be ideal.

Yes it does leak. I have just returned this item - after having to argue with Argos about the validity of the return. Bought this for an evening at the beach and purely from the condensation of ice packs and cold drinks this immediately leaked down my back. Absolutely worthless waste of money, especially after seeing this response from the brand. Argos employee tested the item and decided it was NOT faulty because the entire thing was porous and the official description does not say waterproof.

Yes, you can use this ice backpack to store diabetic insulin pens. Please note, the backpack maintains contents at a cool temperature for approximately 5 hours. If you add 600g of ice the cooling duration extends to about 8 hours. Thank you for using Q&A!

No need to place the item inside the freezer as It will keep the food cold for about 5 hours. By adding 600 g of ice, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C increased to 8 hours in the same conditions.
