Great bag for a day out
Needed something that could carry food for a day as we were out walking. This is a comfortable bag and has the ability to hold lots of icepacks to keep the food cool all day. Food for 2 didn't even fill it half full so would imagine it would work well for a family.

Highly recommended but do check the size
This rucksack does exactly what it’s meant to do. We used numerous ice blocks and it kept our salad plus drinks cool for the day. Do check that the size is right for your needs. I believe there is a larger option which is slightly more expensive but may be more suitable. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with the purchase
Needed a cooler bag for a picnic earlier this summer and it sure did deliver. First of all was the backpack like design which was a lot easier to carry. The bag itself seems like it will last a long time and most importantly it kept all the food cool.

This backpack is not waterproof. The isothermal lining helps to retain cool temperatures but does not prevent water ingress. Therefore, once the ice packs melt and the internal temperature rises, any condensation or liquid from the melting ice could potentially leak out of the backpack. Thank you for using Q&A!
