I bought these items 2 weeks ago to replace my similar ones bought 10 years ago. I had the lights fitted and am very pleased with my new lights. They are glass where the previous were plastic…this will make it easy to dust and they will look cleaner😉.

It's will operate still, however it's best that you replace the bulb to avoid other blowing.

I’m sorry but I don’t know. I don’t have mine on a dimmer control. Product information usually tells you if it’s dimmable, so in the absence of this I would say you would need to change to a standard switch. An electrician would be best to advise.
