Very Disappointing
Sound quality and melodies are not the same as ones purchased years ago. Very tinny, shrill sound and definitely not melodic and pleasing to the ear. Installation instructions were not clear. Struggled to get both plug-ins working together.

Wireless Door Bell
Our old door bell had finally given up. This new one replaced it and was much better in that although the bells plug into a power socket you do not lose that socket as a result.

It works ok, but seems to go off randomly at strange hours. Also, as some near neighbours have the same bell it goes off when they have visitors, but there is no way you can change the signal to counteract this.

Returned as didn’t work
Not a wise purchase. Only kept it for a couple of days. Sometimes both receivers would ring, sometimes only one. Woke us up in the middle of the night but no one at the door. Instructions weren’t clear. Very disappointed and returned it as faulty.

Through socket a deal sealer
Fed up with missing deliveries if we were anywhere away from the front of the house when the doorbell rang, I bought this two doorbell kit. The through socket sealed the deal for me as most of the sockets are in use. It has turned out to be a good buy. With one ringer in the hallway and the other in the kitchen, we shouldn't miss deliveries in future. I do agree with the reviewer who couldn't get both ringers to play the same tune. I gave up after a few tries. I find the ensuing cacophony quite endearing and I no longer jump when a doorbell rings on the telly.
