Doesn't feel very sturdy

This chair was not a particularly expensive one. It does, however, feel cheap and rickety. I wish that I had not wasted my money and bought a more expensive, sturdier version in the first place

We saw a more expensive version of these chairs but thought these were great value and we weren’t disappointed. They look great in our pergola and are comfortable to sit on. The fact that they fold up is also really handy for storing them.

Sturdy chair, great price

Bought this online and picked up in store. Found it quite simple to assemble single handed. Lovely smooth finish and very sturdy. Comfortable to sit in, even better with a cushion. Back rest is plenty high enough for a 1.70m tall person to lean back.

Terrible

The drilled holes, for the first stage of assembly, are too small for the screws. I’m sure the assembled chair is lovely, but a shame that the first stage is a barrier

Lovely Chairs

I bought 2 of these chairs approx 3 weeks ago. My partner put them together pretty quickly and didn't complain so I presume it was fairly straight-forward! In the pictures I wasn't too sure on the colour so I was planning on painting them to match my garden and protect them better but I actually love the colour that they are (a lovely natural wood) so I've left them. They're very comfortable, perfect for around a fire pit and seem sturdy so far. I love that they can be packed flat in the winter and are also quite light so easy to move around the garden. Bird mess also cleans off them extremely easily with a wipe! I'd definitely recommend to anyone considering these chairs, and would love it if Argos would consider selling a matching footstool and cushion to fit the chairs. (Again, still very comfortable without but a cushion would be nice too!)
