Joy pad for The Spectrum
Takes some setting up. Was hoping that 'KEMPSTON' option in games would just work

Simple easy to use controller.
Although the Spectrum can be setup to use many modern game controllers, its a nice old style gamepad with an appropriate price tag. This controller works beautifully with the new Spectrum interface and for the cost doesn't feel too cheap in its build. Great for the manic miner platform Style games, Though hardcore Joystick waggling folks might want to check out the "The Microswitch retro game stick" which also works with the Spectrum.

Struggled to find the controller online at a decent price other r sold out, then out of the blue looking on Argos noticed it was in-store so purchased and collected from inside the Argos Sainsbury's very efficient service. I'm happy

Good enough
It's a controller that works with The Spectrum. It's ok, can't get excited about it, lol. It does the job, it's a d-pad type controller, but you'll find you need to use the keyboard for a lot of things too, and because game developers then had a whole keyboard to play with, different keys do different things in different games, so it would be impossible to make a controller that covered all bases really. Worth having one with The Spectrum though, definitely.
