Beautiful table. Looks amazing and so strong. It came in two parcels, once you have open it looked allot to do, but it’s straight forwarded The instructions are very clear to understand.

Beautiful Scandi-style table
The table is perfect and I loved it immediately! However, the extender section depends on 2 shirt metal rods or pegs fitting into 2 holes at either end and unfortunately, if you’re out by just a millimeter you have no hope of getting the extender to sit flush with the table, making it completely useless. This is the only reason I deducted a star.

Our supplier has advised that the Habitat Sylas Extending 6-8 Seater Dining Table- White & Oak is more of a satin finish which is not quite matt but not as high sheen as gloss.

Apologies, not between the legs, but you can use it as a 8 seater if you factor In the legs when setting up, they just won't go under.

Hello Mel. Taking a look at the instructions to build the Habitat Sylas Extending 6-8 Seater Dining Table I can see that there is a metal runner either side of the table underneath where the extendable section slides onto when not in use. Thanks for using Q and A.
