Not a physical card but only a download key
Finally figured it out but was unpleasantly surprised that this big box only housed a code - not an actual game card.

Glitch in game
There is a glitch on the game so only saves your a bit of your progress. If you play the game for hours and are about 10% in it will only save about 5% so all that hard work is lost wish I didn’t purchase this now the makers of the game know there is a problem but haven’t sorted anything out and this has been happening for years from what I’ve read
