Great solution to a common problem
Bought this as the new TV was too big for the tv cabinet (whoops) . This seemed a great solution. Read the reviews (a bit mixed) but bought it anyway. Read the instructions measured the TV mounting holes. Followed the steps carefully. Stood the TV on the old cabinet. Admired my handiwork and watch some programs on the new TV. Reflected that most of the negative comments were made as a result of people not reading the instructions. Such is life.

Easy to assemble and adjust for differing TV sizes. Pleasantly surprised that came with a variety of bolts and spacers for differn't Tv Models. Very sturdy construction.

Manageable install and overall good
Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Put together by myself - just make sure you have a screw driver and spanner. A little fiddly but manageable! Thought it might be too fragile to hold the TV but the self tightening bolts make it sturdy

Recommended tv stand
Great idea ! So having purchased the sharp 55" roku TV it didn't fit on the unit due to the legs being on each end! While looking for a new unit I stumbled across this stand , and its perfect! It was a bit of a niggle to assemble and a few irritable words were expressed . It comes with multiple fixing bolts etc and the instructions need a degree to understand but once assembled it fits well, then its getting the tv straight as it was wonky but my son put it together and hes got it perfect, also it does swivel, he said its about having the correct tightness on the fixing. Its heavy enough to be confident in it supporting the tv ,its heavy glass . Basically it's a good idea and works well.

Good freestanding universal TV stand.
We bought a new television which only had small legs instead of a stand, so we bought this product. It was easy to construct and looks good with the television fitted. My only criticism is that you need to disassemble it slightly if you hadn't set the TV height right first time, but for price, excellent!

Does the job
Brilliant and does exactly what's needed. It can be a bit tricky to construct as some bits require 'two' people or being able to balance it yourself (such as the screws on the base or lifting the TV onto the hooks). You will also need tools at home so beware (nothing out of the blue, a screwdriver and a wrench/spanner for the tightening of the bolts onto the height adjustable stand which can be quite frustrating to tighten). But overall it's perfect for my corner TV stand which is too small for a 50inch TV. My only downside was the tedious steps in trying to construct it and that height can't be adjusted after it's built but only during.

Didn't fit
I bought this but had to return it because it didn't fit my 2013 sony telly. It was pretty solid and I was disappointed. I am still waiting for my £5 gift card to be refunded so not happy about that.

This means that you can adjust the height of your TV so that it is basically touching the glass base if you want it to. Therefore the minimum height for the bottom of your TV is virtually 0cm.
