Because my TV was the smaller size, (32) the vertical metal bars were showing above the TV. They had to be cut down with a hacksaw. The stand is sturdy and I didn't want holes drilled into the wall.

Overall the product is good,very sturdy holding a 50 inch tv. Some of the screws can be a bit dodgy during assembly in regards to the thread on them so you have to be careful during assembly. You will also need a 10mm spanner as doesn’t come with one supplied

Perfect for our needs
Having bought a television with a 60 inch screen, we found that when we got it home, it would not fit on our tv unit, even though our previous one did. The legs on the televion were situated one on each end, whereas, our previous one had been in the middle. This product was put together without too much trouble, and fits in the middle, making if perfect for our needs. It also made the television much more sturdy.

Premium TV stand!
Really impressed with this stand - it looks and feels far more premium than the price would suggest; especially the tempered glass base. I managed to assemble it on my own (there was a fair bit of sweating and cursing at one point), but it might be easier with 2 people. A few tips: 1 - Don't be overwhelmed by the amount of screws in the box; you'll likely only need about 25% of them 2 - When you get to attaching the backplate to the stand, you need a spanner. It doesn't tell you this, but you'll save a lot of time knowing it! 3 - Experiment with heights before you tighten everything up, but don't worry if you do need to change it - there's no part of the install that can't be (fairly easily) tweaked. It's exactly what I was looking for, and an ideal compromise for someone who doesn't want to use the feet that come with a flatscreen TV, but doesn't - or can't - wall mount it either. Finally - thanks again for the excellent customer service from the team at Leeds Colton Argos.

Great TV stand
I bought this 3 days ago and I’m very happy with my purchase. It was easy to assemble and is the perfect stand for my 32 inch tv. It fits tv’s up to 60 inches so is pretty much perfect for anyone.

Great TV stand holder thingy
I am so pleased I found this. My TV normally goes on a wall and I ended up buying a big TV and kept it off the wall. But it would not fit my unit. Now it does as it is on this :)

Confusing to Assemble
Instructions not clear to follow. Dozens of bolts in the box which are not needed. Does not swivel as expected. Would not recommend.

It should. The AVF Up To 60 Inch Tabletop Swivel TV Stand is designed so that the entire column rotates. There is a mechanism in the base of the metal column that allows the whole column to rotate 45 degrees (22.5 degrees left and right).
