This toilet seat does the job But has a design flaw. The seat clamp fitting have a tendency to unscrew with movement (any movement whilst sitting on the seat causes the side clamps to unscrew). This makes the seat feel unstable and loose.

I bought this for my elderly mother, but the screw on one side seems to unravel very often. Not stable, so you have to be careful.

As long as your wc INNER RIM is no smaller than
8 1/2"ins. width or 10 3/4 "ins length it will fit.
Quit a big range of adjustment so I would have thought it would fit most pans. Very pleased with the product.

You don’t have to remove the existing toilet seat, you can just have it permanently raised. .

As the clamps are situated on either side of the Aidapt Raised Toilet Seat with No Lid and this toilet seat is only 36.5cms wide, it will not be possible to tighten this onto your 40cm wide toilet bowl.

it is easy to fit just either raise the existing toilet seat and lid to the upright position or if so desired completely remove the existing toilet seat. Then place this new seat over the toilet pan and tighten the hand screws on either side of the new toilet seat to fit the toilet pan sides best to turn both side screws at the same time if you can to ensure the seat is centered on the toilet properly

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aidapt Raised Toilet Seat with No Lid: ''This is just place on the toilet & then tightened via the two thumb wheel screws either side.''
