Raised toilet seat.
Surprised and pleased how stable this seat is with 2 side screws to grip. Found I didn’t I need to remove existing seat but merely leave it upright so this was a huge help too not needing to make this adjustment. Good purchase to aid recovery from knee surgery as knee heals.

Good seat - bad fixings.
Good seat but the plastic retainers are not good. Apparently some of these arrived at Argos minus the retainers - mine were there but they are pretty rubbish. Be careful with them as I found that mine could release itself at speed! The plastic construction of the seat is reasonable but the fixings look like a poor copy of the seat that the hospital gave us (we have a downstairs toilet hence the need for another seat). I’d look around if I were you - this seat is ok but you may have issues with the fixings and you don’t need to be in hospital again!

As long as your wc INNER RIM is no smaller than
8 1/2"ins. width or 10 3/4 "ins length it will fit.
Quit a big range of adjustment so I would have thought it would fit most pans. Very pleased with the product.

You don’t have to remove the existing toilet seat, you can just have it permanently raised. .

As the clamps are situated on either side of the Aidapt Raised Toilet Seat with No Lid and this toilet seat is only 36.5cms wide, it will not be possible to tighten this onto your 40cm wide toilet bowl.

it is easy to fit just either raise the existing toilet seat and lid to the upright position or if so desired completely remove the existing toilet seat. Then place this new seat over the toilet pan and tighten the hand screws on either side of the new toilet seat to fit the toilet pan sides best to turn both side screws at the same time if you can to ensure the seat is centered on the toilet properly
