Top and sides didn’t fit the pre made holes.Avoid!
An absolute nightmare, avoid!!!! Looked lovely but poor quality and badly designed. Holes on top didn’t fit the screws. Back middle slot was too wide for pre made grooves. Unit collected for refund but still not processed

If you’ve ever looked at your living room and thought, “This place could really use something that screams ‘I’m organised but in a mysterious, coastal way,’ then congratulations — the GFW Louvered 2 Door TV Unit is your soulmate in flat-pack form. Assembly was, as always, a bonding experience between me and my growing sense of despair. The instructions were less manual and more emotional journey, but with enough tea and mild swearing, I managed to produce something vaguely rectangular that didn’t wobble. That’s a win in my book. Once built, it looked genuinely lovely — those louvered doors give off a breezy, beach-house vibe, as if my PS5 is secretly a surfboard. The natural finish says “Hamptons chic,” while the storage space says “hide the remote, the tangled cables, and your life choices.” My TV now perches proudly on top like a smug cat, while the doors heroically conceal the chaos within. The unit doesn’t complain, even when I shove in a collection of mystery cables, several takeout menus, and that one controller that no longer works but I’m emotionally attached to. In short: ✅ Looks expensive, wasn’t (thankfully) ✅ Holds everything I need, and everything I don’t ✅ Makes me feel like I live in a magazine instead of a Netflix marathon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants their living room to look calm, coastal, and definitely not like they assembled it while crying into an Allen key.

Quality Look and Feel at a Reasonable Price
I’m really impressed with this TV unit. Assembly was straightforward, with each piece clearly numbered and a helpful scale drawing of the fittings. The instructions were fairly typical for flat-pack furniture, though clear overall. One note: there’s a push-to-open mechanism for the doors (not mentioned in the description) that’s set too far back to function properly. It didn’t bother me much, as the unit works well without it. The design exceeded my expectations for the price. The oak-effect finish looks high quality, and the detailing gives it a proper mid-century modern feel. I compared a few similar units from other retailers and have no regrets choosing this one. I also picked up the matching coffee table from the same range and they look great together. Functionally, it’s a great addition to the living room. Both shelves comfortably fit a PS5, which is a bonus given the size of the console. The cupboards offer ample hidden storage. As the unit sits about 20cm off the floor, a cable tidy is a good idea, but that’s expected with this kind of leg design. The doors did take a bit of adjusting to get them aligned and opening smoothly. It’s fiddly, but the instructions explain how to do it. I also chose not to nail the backboard on, as it fit snugly into the grooves and felt secure without it. Delivery was quick and the packaging was excellent; everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a stunning piece once assembled and excellent value for money.
