Currently the UK regulations for EV charging require that any Mode 2 charger be plugged into a socket which has been tested and certified to the more stringent EV requirements (and thus marked BS 1363-2/EV or just BS 1363/EV), no portable trailing sockets have been tested to this standard thus far so that would rule out their use.
